Driving Change: West Coast Auto Group Donates $4,500 and 920 LBs of Food to Friends in Need Food Bank

At West Coast Auto Group, we believe that a strong community is built on the spirit of looking out for one another. This holiday season, we are honoured to continue our long-standing partnership with the Friends in Need Food Bank, an organization that serves as a vital lifeline for our neighbors in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows.
A Collective Effort
Through the incredible generosity of our employees and customers, and the proceeds from our annual Awards Banquet, we were thrilled to present a donation of $4,500. This contribution was further bolstered by the personal support of our Dealer Principals, Scott Jones and Michelle Jones-Ruppel, who remain deeply committed to local outreach.
In addition to the financial gift, our team rallied together to collect 920 lbs of food. These donations ensure that families, seniors, and individuals in our community have access to nutritious meals and essential care items during what can be a challenging time of year for many.
Why It Matters
The need in our community is significant and growing. Each month, the Friends in Need Food Bank supports more than 2,700 individuals. With demand on the rise and no sign of a decline in usage, community-led support is more critical than ever.
We are proud to partner with an organization that does more than just provide food; they foster connections and build a more resilient community for everyone.
How You Can Help
If you are in a position to give, we encourage you to join us in supporting this incredible cause. Whether through donating, volunteering, or simply spreading the word, every action helps put food on the table for a neighbor in need.
